I would like to introduce the Millennium Master Chorale, a group formed just one year ago for the purpose of performing and presenting major and master works. There is an upcoming concert, 'A Classical Christmas', November 17 at 7:00pm, at Morrison United Methodist Church, 1005 West Main St., Leesburg. It will feature the Bach Magnificat in D Major, with orchestral accompaniment. Tickets are $10, online at Millennium Master Chorale Tickets (http://mmccf.ticketleap.com/), or you can PM me.

From member GM:
"Last year my husband was reading the Village Voice and discovered what he thought I might be interested in. A choir that sang Master Works was just beginning. He grabbed the information for me and insisted I go try out. This has been the delight of my life.
We have sung Shuberts Mass No.2 in G., Thomas Jeffersons Testament of Freedom, Frostiana, works by Handel and we are currently working on Bachs Magnificat in D. We have sung with the Florida Lakes Symphony and have invited instrumentalists and many wonderful soloists to sing and accompany us, along with our own.
We are new, and are looking to increase our numbers. If you, like me, love to sing Master Works and can read music call the director, Karyl Elton at 352-365-6227 or email info.mmccf@gmail.com.
We meet on Tuesday nights 6:00 to 8:30 at Morrison Methodist Church in Leesburg. There are plenty of us Villagers in the choir to help with transportation."
