View Full Version : We are Back from our Med./TA Cruise

Hi Folks:

Got back Tuesday from our cruise to NJ from Barcelona on Celebrity Constellation. I didn't realize how much mail comes in in 3 weeks.

The trip was excellent, Continental Hotel in Barcelona is a cute boutique hotel right on The Rambla. Barcelona was wonderful, the have more sites than you can see in a week let alone 2 days. But walking The Rambla was fantastic. We went to the open air market off the Rambla and had a treat of the best ham in Spain and possibly the world.

Then the fun started, Malaga Spain, Casablanca Morocco, Cadiz/Seville Spain, Lisbon Portugal and the surrounding areas, the Azores and TA to NJ.

The ship, staff, and the food were excellent.

My only complaint is we have to wait till 9/2009 to do it again.

I took about 500 pictures and should have them uploaded this weekend.

Welcome back, MelZ, from your wonderful, safe trip abroad on the high seas. It sounds like a wonderful itinerary was provided to you. Please get those pics downloaded soon, can't wait to see what I missed! Again, :welcome: BACK!!

Welcome back. Gald you had a safe and enjoyable trip. WE would love to hear about the Summit for we are taking that ship Nov 1.

Since alot of your ports of call were different than ours lets talk about the SUMMIT. Was it up to the standards you expected, was the "Cir du soil" stuff out of the top deck bar, things like that. I undrestand they have a new culinary feature...was that evdent....how was the food? Just the good and the bad about the ship itself!
