What is behind the Ocala Star Banner and the Villages Daily Sun, not understanding there is a big difference between the Villages, and the Town of Lady Lake. These newspapers now in the last few days keep saying the Vietnam Traveling Wall is in the Villages! NOT true, the Villages turned down our Veterans Memorial, so the Town of Lady Lake accepted the Traveling Wall and provided all the resources needed. My Hats off to that Municipal Government!

I appreciate your efforts to give credit, but don't ruin the sentiment of the Wall to prove a point. This is your second or third post dealing with this topic.

Yes Joyce, a point that needs to be understood.

The Wall's official website says The Villages. And I would assume that many of the volunteers are from TV.
But yes, hats off to Lady Lake for providing a space for it.

Obviously you live in Lady Lake. I lived in Arlington, Tx and always cringed when The Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys were referred to as playing in Dallas. I also worked at American Airlines whose headquarters was not in Dallas but it was always referred to as Dallas.
