We carted to the wall yesterday.....we have visited the National Monument in DC several times and this wall has the same emotional impact as the permanent wall. When you absorb the 58,000 plus names memorialized, the impact it has on the visitors and the lessons it teaches the school children (salute to those teachers that brought their classes) , for those of us that served in that era, it's a sobering reminder. Thanks to all that served, and do serve, and thanks to all that came to the wall to show your respect for those that have paid the ultimate price.

Most people also miss the empty place setting at the table with a pile of salt and a lemon.
