I hope beyond hope that I am wrong on this and will welcome proof that I am BUT....

The political and party implications that have weighed in all of his decisions, in lieu of what is best for the country, is becoming maybe at minimum more apparent as we watch the world, which is on fire, burn to the ground. He is a very smart man, but his background is one that dictates his actions.

If you read newspapers, and I mean those that are left leaning, right leaning and/or considered middle of the road, the vision in your head will be of rioting in the streets, a total lack of involvement in some very important things and an attempt to do things DESPITE what the American people want. It can be depressing.
