Note of warning to those liberal posters who get annoyed at facts being presented and any even potential criticism of the President.
This is not a direct criticism but comments made by Republican candidates that caught my eye while reading and watch the NFL (if in fact, you call the Bucs part of the NFL).
"Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) called for invoking the collective-defense provision of NATO's founding treaty in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, a move that would pave the way for NATO intervention in response to the violence.
"This is clearly an act of war, an attack on one of our NATO allies, and we should invoke Article 5 of the NATO agreement and bring everyone together to put together a coalition to confront this challenge," the Republican presidential candidate said in an interview with ABC's "This Week."
Article 5 deems an attack on one NATO member as an attack on all members. The alliance has invoked it only once, after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the United States. John Kasich, another member of the Republican presidential primary field, also has called for invoking Article 5 in response to the violence in Paris."
Jeb Bush was on board but with some reservations......
"Jeb Bush, meanwhile, said President Obama should "convene" other NATO member nations to "discuss that" possibility."

It was invoked only one other time....after 9/11 attacks on the US.
I also am giving a link to that article so it can be read...easy reading and not sure if a strong case can be made for " directed from abroad" which is essential for it implementation.
