I am a relatively new villager and need to find a dentist that takes insurance. Any recent recommendations?

Second for Dr Jerkins. Went to a new dental "factory" on the corner of Powel and 44 and was treated as a cash cow.
Got a second opinion from Dr Jerkins and scheduled the one required crown, not three. He is and easy going medical professional that puts patients first.
Just waiting for my records and X-rays (which I paid for) to be transferred.

I go to Dr James Witt in Lady Lake. He's very good. I can't say the same for his office staff, but that seems to be the case with most medical professionals in this area.

I have Delta Care USA which is an HMO. Only found one place (Smiles Designs on 441) and after hearing their upcharges - the bill would have been about $10,000 to me after insurance. Come on Village Dental places - the villagers are not arteries waiting to be tapped!! Let's get real!! Isn't there a dentist out there that is reasonable, doesn't want to sell upcharges and is honest?? I would love recommendations. Especially if they take Delta Care USA (HMO). Thanks.

Thank you for your reply!
I called so many dentist's. Dr. Jerkins office was the only one that called back to let me know he has experience with patients with Sjogren's syndrome and has several other patients with this disease. I am so excited for my 1st appt. with his practice next week.

Our DDS is Dr Sagili; he is a wonderful & caring person. Everyone there are caring, have mutual respect for each other, making them a very cohesive team who are all looking out for your teeth. They are not a mill shop. They don’t take HMO but they do take PPO. You can give them a call and your Q’s are never a problem. Their website includes testimonies:

I agree about dr. Witt. I am looking a new dentist.
Do you mean you go to Dr. Witt but are looking for a new dentist? Meaning you are unhappy with him. Or happy with him but not the staff? Thank you.

I have insurance but decided to go to Village Dental. I have been a patient of Dr Farrell. The Office is State of The Art, Dr Farrell is Very Knowledgeable in his field, the atmosphere is excellent, However, Insurance is NOT accepted. If you find a dentist, google his name & get some background info on him or her...and remember you Must feel comfortable with your Dentist.....
