We just returned from the TOTV cruise and had a great time!
I got an email from my bank Sunday AM saying my credit card had been suspended due to fraudulent activity. So I logged on and sure enough, there were 3 charges for $37, $42, and $59 from a London source.
I called the bank as instructed in the email and they cancelled my card saying the charges were from some "direct merchandise" sale. I was transferred to the fraud department to get the charges reversed.
Well, they were able to determine the charges were for phone calls from the Bahamas. Immediately I new that I in fact had made 3 calls, 1 for about 2 minutes, 1 for about 3 minutes, and 1 for about 4-5 minutes which would coincide with the charges.
BUT...this amounts to around $15/minute!!!!!!!!!!
I can't imagine what the celphone charges wold have been!
SOOOO....if your headed to the Bahamas, beware of the phone charges. At .55 per minute it's cheaper to email (or not communicate at all).
