Yeah, Ronda, we know all that, when do you ever sit still.

BTW, I'm keeping a running list from the Chatroom of who's coming and when. So we can keep up with comings and goings, as you know, I love going out, toooooo!

Hope to meet, greet and eat with TOTV's during our visits. BYW, I enjoy mah jongg and bridge ---- are there any TOTV groups meeting for those games? Remember me in if you need an extra person.

And my husband and I will be there Oct 17-28, and again for the month of March. Will we be in time for October Crispers? We'll try! It will be nice to have a 1 day overlap with some of the TOTVers.

GG - You know that end date is going to become longer and longer and longer...

The Bostons will be down from May 15 - May 31 I'm sure I'll post some reminder when the time comes. We hope to finally make a Crispers meeting then, if you still do them and there is enough money left in my 401k to afford lunch!

We're planning to leave this Thursday morning for our cross-country road trip with 2 kitties in the car! We're hoping to be there by October 10th!* :pepper2:
I'm heading over to UPS in a minute to ship 19 boxes of things I absolutely need in TV. LOL

See you all soon!
Judy

* A lot depends on whether or not we can buy gas from Tennessee southward. Have you heard anything about the gas shortages in Georgia & Alabama, etc.? I stopped at AAA in our town yesterday, and they didn't know anybody (other than Houston) was having trouble getting gas. No disrespect intended to the Missouri folks, but I really don't want to spend a week in Kansas City w/ 2 kitties in a pet-friendly motel.

Oct 4-11, then again around the middle of December, then Jan. 14-22...after that, who knows :)

I'll be down Nov 22 to Nov 30th. Then again Dec 22 to Jan 3rd. Then not until spring break as I can only come down during school breaks. Hoping this is my last Ohio winter but depends on the economy!

uujudy, wow 10 days in the car with 2 kitties, good luck, as far as the gas shortages yes Ive heard Chattanoga and Atlanta have shortages. My suggestion would be once you get near the southeast that you fill up when you get near 1/4 tank left that way if you run into a shortage area you should have 75 - 100 miles left in the tank til you find more gas.

Hey Ronda

Thank you our Ronda, you are always so positive!! It is so nice to learn that someone is looking forward to the return of the Snowbirds. :clap2: I know that many Frogs dread the return of the Snowbirds as we fill up the streets, dance riotiously in the squares, jam up the restaurants, laugh too loud, take all the good tee times, drink all the happy hour doubles, whoooo .... what can I say, here we all come. :coolsmiley:

Can you hear my wings beating? It's a long way to fly from Canada.

We will be in 10/09 thru 10/18 and will try to do Crispers (depends on my nearby daughter's plans). And again 1/12/09 thru 3/15/09 to unload furniture and spend the longest time yet!

Hope to sell our house in Norcal next summer and hang it up late next year (two years later than planned, being a contractor I am used to finishing a job late).

Golfnut, I don't know which part worries me more... the kitties in the car or the gas shortage. Thanks for the good idea on filling up at 1/4 of a tank. I'll tell you about the time we ran out of gas in the Nevada desert. That was another memorable road trip.

Hope to meet everybody at Crispers! I'll be the one with bloody scratches all over my body.

Cathi and I just ran 1500 miles from Fla to RI and did not see any gas shortages at all. Seems to be mainly in the large metropolitan areas. We were careful to fill up every time we got to half a tank.

HB and I will be coming for the winter sometime in early or mid November, other than keeping up with our traveling, which we can do probably more easily from Orlando than our dinky airport in Newburgh, NY. We do have a wedding to attend in Brooklyn in March, for which we'll fly north and then back to TV. And don't forget the Thanksgiving cruise out of Tampa! (Contact HB if you have any interest; it's incredibly reasonable!) Looking forward to finally returning to TOTV Crispers luncheons and meeting at the clock in LSL!!!

I hope to attend the Mac users group next month.

Frank D.

Ah, another Mac user. Welcome, welcome! We are such a minority....
