Austin schools considering hiring more teachers that speak arabic!!!

Why? It is the job of the children and the parents to assure they learn the language of the country....if they are to learn.
Having relocated many families to work in offshore operations, I can tell you that there is no such bowing down to immigrants.
For example, how about entering a german junior high school unable to speak a word of german. One is told to learn the language you must use the language and NOT be taught in english, or any special dispensation because of the language difference. You become very quickly amazed at how quickly the young adapt and be amazed at their language capability a year later.
Hire special teachers......not in the America I grew up in....and not any different than any other civilized country on the planet.
If the muslims (and anybody else) want to come to our country, send their kids to American schools, then they should be made to understand that the language is english....like it or not. Take it or leave it.
You want to live in America...learn our language or take a hike!
