Hello!

I am visiting my dad. He had some landscaping done a few months ago, it wasn't done properlyand the work needs mitigated. I have gone through the wringer to get the contractor to fix the work, they won't. The job was done so badly, I don't really want them to fix it anyhow.

Long story short, I need to find a company to get the landscaping compliant. I have searched these vast forums and already called several landscapers. The issue is that I need a bed moved and the drainage area repaired.

Who do you trust? Let me know!

TIA

Re: mitigated
Does that mean that you have outstanding complaints from neighbors, architectural committee?
Re: moving beds
Do you have older LARGE plants that need to be moved?
You say you have called several landscapers. If, they are not interested in doing the job you should directly ask them why. Could be you are not allowing enough money to make the job worth while or due to your property they simply cannot get in to do the job. Things should be slow for them as it is winter. Aside: If you want to move plants spring-march or april-is probably a better time

Sloanes are excellent but are not terribly people friendly.(Kinda grumpy actually) In my opinion they are the best. They do all of the landscaping for the Premier homes when they are built. I don't know if they take on outside jobs, but they do excellent work.

We had serious problems with Sloans. Of all the contractors we dealt with when our house was new, Sloans was the only one with whom we had problems. I'm glad your experience was better.

Lopez Hernadez is very good, Pam is the contact person, 352 461 3463 or 305 360 7518. Note typically booked a few weeks in advance, but does excellent work. Has done several homes in the Villages of Pinellas, including ours.
