Need help saving youtubes.

I want to save some youtubes for a party. There is a lot of software but I'm reluctant to download it and dealing with malware.
Is anyone downloading youtubes?

I googled it but when I was downloading clipgrab it also wanted me to download a computer tune-up program.

Do you want both video and audio or just the audio?

I use Video DownloadHelper. Works in Firefox & Chrome. downloadhelper-dot-net.
I think I paid a few dollars for the converter too which you may not need. I've used it for years.

I found this KeepVid: Download YouTube Videos, Facebook, Vimeo, Twitch.Tv, Dailymotion, Youku, Tudou, Metacafe and more! (http://keepvid.com/) and downloaded the youtube videos and saved it as a mp4.
I'm playing it using VLC media player.
