View Full Version : Where to go for "serious" ballroom dancing?

My brother-in-law and his girlfriend are "serious" ballroom dancers. They've taken years of classes, done competitions and go dancing several night a week in Las Vegas (they live nearby). When they come to visit us in TV, is there a place we can point them to that does "serious" ballroom dancing? Not the introductory stuff that two-left-footers like myself can barely handle, but high-end, real talent stuff.

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies!

Not to worry. Plenty of great ballroom dancers here and dances. All are advertised in rec news

There was Katie Bells, no longer. Think there is a place in Ocala where the real pro's go.

Dances at Seabreeze on Monday at 7:00, Bridgeport on Saturday at 7:00. These are not formal dances but practice dances. There are very good dancers at both dances, although there are newer dancers as well.

I agree about Dieter, he has been a professional ballroom dancer for years. He's a really nice guy and I'm sure he'll help you find places for you BIL and friend to go. Good luck.
