It is starting to appear that Sen Obama may be our next President and I was struck as I read around the world at many of the headlines TODAY...
ACORN Nevada Office Raided
"Instead, their office was raided Tuesday morning by agents of the Nevada Secretary of State and Attorney General who alleged in an application for a search warrant that ACORN had hired 59 felons through a work release program as canvassers and submitted nearly 300 apparently fraudulent voter registration cards as part of the drive."

Black Congressmen Declare Racism In Palin’s Rhetoric

Brokaw's Private Obama Interview
"Goldman Sachs employees and family members, it turns out, have donated nearly $740,000 to the Obama campaign. Sweet reports that the firm is the number one source of Obama contributions, according to the Center for Responsive Politics."

Signs point to attempted voter fraud
"In short, rule-or-ruin Democrats are determined to get Barack Obama elected commander-in-chief, even if they have to cheat to do it. "

Project Vote and ACORN Announce Completion of Historic Voter Registration Drive
"According to Bertha Lewis, Interim Chief Organizer of ACORN, the majority of the 1.3 million registrants are low- to moderate-income Americans, 60 to 70 percent are black or Latino, and over half are under the age of 30. Lewis said the ultimate goal was to change the face of the electorate and permanently empower the Americans who are most affected by policy decisions."

None of this will change the election and on its own merits it shouldn't....just striking to me !!!

Still plugging away, heh, Bucco. Good for you. You're a man of character and I mean that. Honestly. I'm not being sarcastic just because I think you're mostly dead wrong. :icon_wink: I admire anyone who truly believes in something and fights for it. This may be the only nice post you'll get from me. LOL
ACORN is a tiny piece of ancient history. All community organizers get involved or have met with ACORN at one time or another. No game changer here.

More from TODAY'S news !!!
Son of Tenn. Democrat indicted in Palin hacking
- The son of a Democratic Tennessee state lawmaker pleaded not guilty Wednesday to hacking the e-mail account of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Schumer rips Chamber of Commerce
“We have absolutely no affiliation with the Chamber of Commerce and have received no money from them,” Miller said. “For Sen. Schumer to criticize any institution for partisanship — when the DSCC has received so much contributions from labor unions and has pushed legislation as payback to the labor unions — really makes his claim rather comical.”

Who Is Buying The White House?
"Sources of more than $190 million in Obama election contributions are unidentified. Will a federal investigation find foreigners illegally rigging the most important presidential election in history?"

Secret dangers
about Obama
SIOUX CITY -- Barack Obama's secret dangers include:
1. His infatuation with the U.N. He believes the U.N. is the solution to all the world’s problems and our sovereignty must be subjected to their control, then the world would become a heaven.
2. His desire to reduce our military strength and destroy all our nuclear weapons. Though our enemies amass nuclear weapons, he wants to diminish our strength.
3. His defense of the Treaty of the Seas. The treaty would grant the U.N. absolute control of 70 percent of the earth’s surface located under the oceans. They would control and regulate all activity on, in and below the water’s surface and would own all the oil and mineral rights therein.
4. His advocacy of the Global Poverty Act whereby he would force a huge tax upon prosperous nations to subsidize the poorer nations often suppressed by ruthless dictators. Price tag: an extra $2,000 from every individual in the USA. This one has been debunked and you know it. It's not true.
5. His Socialist belief is that the government has the right and obligation to steal from the wealthy through exorbitant taxation to provide giveaways for pet social programs. The only socialist thing I heard last night was from McCain saying he would nationalize all the mortgages
6. His “common sense” anti-gun policy — which lacks common sense. In spite of his Second Amendment rhetoric, his voting record shows he doesn’t believe we should have a readily available gun for self-defense. -- William Tucker
As usual....wrong wrong wrong

COLOGAL....I am not going to read your link.
The ONLY reason I posted these two posts and began this thread was to make a point. For such a long time, I have been reading from you and others about how bad the Republican party is...how mean and unfair and how they smear.
I, and others, have pretty much tried to say over and over that it is not JUST the Republican party as you and others believe...IT IS BOTH PARTIES.
See how easy it was for me to just grab stuff from the NEWS on ONE SINGLE DAY to throw mud at Sen Obama and the Democratic party. BOTH PARTIES ARE GUILTY and I ask you as an intelligent person to wake up and realize it.
I oppose Sen Obama for reasons I have stated...You support him...fine but please dont think the sun began to set and rise when he was born, and to demean Sen McCain personallly, his military record, his mental health (AND I KNOW IT WAS NOT ALL YOU)
I have NEVER ONE TIME said anything about Sen Obama personally, and find the last weeks posts on Gov Palin and her entire family along with her accent, and Sen McCains mental health and how he met his family really bad.
You have not seen ANYTHING on here about Sen Obama's family....nor Sen Biden's family. Only posts talking about the Senator's idealogy !
When you folks say Sen Obama is being smeared, in some cases you may be right, but in his case it is an issue so allow it to be without trying to smear his opponent. If there is nothing in his past associations (AND REMEMBER THAT IS ALL THERE IS TO JUDGE THIS FELLOW BY) then it will not hurt anything.
Thanks for listening. I will be leaving now.....BUT IT WAS SO EASY TO FIND THIS STUFF WHEN LOOKING :)

I have repeately asked you to show me a post where I attacked Palin, McCain or their families...You have not or can not. Now I am being accused of being rude.

Came back for one final gesture....first if you are not a fan of Sen Obama you sure spend a lot of time defending him :)
But, why I came back for this post was to say that perhaps the post about you being a member of the tag team, I must say that if you are, you are not a "senior" member. The "tag team bunch" is about 4-5 and are pretty nasty in their personal comments.
There I defended you :) But my single biggest problem with you, as if I were able to correctly judge, is your constant questiong comments on one side but ignoring the other...maybe that is why I consider you a fan of Sen Obama !
Enjoy life !
