What is the best and cheapest solution to get high speed internet with WiFi in TV for only a short time, like 2 to 3 months?

You can try Xfinity.com. It comes up when you open your browser. I am in the historic section and used it for 2 weeks when I was down in June.

We use Comcast while we are there for the winter. Here's their vacation policy for FL:

If you have Comcast for internet service elsewhere, you should be able to use the xfinity wi-fi program IF you can find an available comcast wi-fi hotspot in your area. XFINITY® WiFi by Comcast | Wireless Internet on the Go (http://wifi.comcast.com/faqs.html)

You might consider spending time at a Villages Rec center for free Wi-Fi access

Buy a WiFi Hotspot, go to Trueconnect.com, you can start and stop service as you choose. I have one.

How do you buy a Wifi Hotspot?
When I try to access www.trueconnect.com (http://www.trueconnect.com), it says "This site is under construction".

You can buy a hotspot at Best Buy. We have one that we activate whenever we go somewhere that doesn't have good wifi. Activate it for a month. I think through AT&T, but I'm not sure.

If you have a smart phone that has hot spot function... You can just access it... Caveat, if you are doing more than reading emails. the data charge will surprise you...

When we had Sprint, we could activate the hot spot on our smart phone. They told you the rate for so many gigs, so you knew what you were getting and could keep track of it. My biggest problem with that was forgetting to call them up and have it turned off after our trip, thereby incurring a second monthly charge.

I like the hot spot that we have now better because it doesn't keep running after the month is up, unless you set it up that way. Or we might use it in US airports so my husband can access the internet. Not all airports have free wifi.

Since getting a cellular iPad, I don't use the hot spot so much anymore. Mainly I was using it in the car during long trips.

We got out Hot Spot from Verizon, it's $20.00 a month. When we're not in the Villages we use it at our home in Michigan. I do believe most cellular phone company's have them.
