Forgot to mention that this is an OLD article, so before the dissenters start getting critical about it, 'tis the season.........
......and it DOES fit in the political section.

Couldn't care less. The myth of Santa Claus is a promotional tool to make some people feel like kids, kids to feel good and get stuff or action properly and companies to make some extra cash during the season. It has zip to do with religion, but everything to do about family values. Trying to politicize it is just someone stirring a pot because they've naught else to do.

It actually fits in any forum where sensible participants can discuss the subject without the antagonistic foul balls found in the political forum.
And you must anticipate their reaction to the subject hence your qualifier that it fits in the political section.
I personally found the article to be of no particular value on any level.

Ok, well I thought that it might be a little something to offset the poison that seems to be festering here. You are right that it isn't religious and isn't relevant to the current election season politics. Even though I take the elections seriously, I felt that this fit with the idea that liberals finally have come out of the closet and admitted that they are socialists. Thought maybe this would coincide with Bernie being the left wing Sander Claus.

Then he is a Democrat. At least he was, a conservative Democrat from the old Democratic party, not the current Socialist party.
