I am interested in using Ooma as my home phone. Is anyone using it. Do you like it. Does it save you money. Domestic and international calls.
Thanks for any info.

I use it, works great, $3.50/month for 911 fee and taxes. I can't comment on international calls.

I use it and have had no trouble. I only use domestic calling. Just pay the tax. When you first signup you get all kind of features free for a time. I cancelled that when the free period was up.

We got it recently. After using Comcast's phone that featured call forwarding and call blocking, I'm really missing those on the Ooma Telo, now that the free period has expired. To get them back is an additional monthly cost of $9.99. Add that to the cost of the Telo unit and it'll be a while before we break even.
The good thing is that, hopefully, Ooma won't raise prices every year like Comcast does.

I have it in our home. Since we are seasonal residents it takes care of our needs at a very reasonable cost. Just had a rate increase and I am now paying $4.19 per month. I did not get all the bells and whistles I could have had with this phone. Best of all, not bundled with anything else, no contract, etc. Very pleased!!

Two years without any issues what so ever. We do not have the premium service as the basic service suits our needs
Less than $4 per month.....down from $36 withe the phone company here.
Mine is hooked direct to the router and then to the existing base phone and extension phones throughout the house.
No dropped calls. As clear as any hard wired phone.
911 is registered by telephone number and address.

We have two. One in each home and several friends and relatives have Ooma because we highly recommend it. Free calls everywhere in the US. You only pay Fed Tax which for us is $4 a month. Ooma is AWESOME~
