About six months ago, I posted here about a very bad experience I had with the owner of the hardware store in the Belleview PLaza. It was a situtation where I purchased a soldering gun and it didn't work properly. When I returned it to get a new one, the owner became indignant and told me he was now stuck with a broken item. (It was two days old). After some words, I said I would not be back in his store. His reply was "GOOD!" This was in front of about six customers.
That hardware store is now closed and out of business. :shocked:

See, what goes around comes around!! Too bad though cause I love Ace Hardware, or any hardware store for that matter....
Found a good one though on CR 301, south of 466A. Very nice Ace store and very helpful indeed. At every turn there was a salesman asking me if I needed help (which of course I did!!).
Yeah, just like Home Depot, NOT!!

The same people that run the Ace in Wildwood also run the one in Sourthern Trace.

KathieI;
I know the store you're speaking of, it's kind of tucked away in the back corner of a strip mall. I was in there only once but the store manager was immediately ready to help me. He didn't just point in the general direction of where I might find the items I wanted, he took me there personally and made certain that was precisely what I was looking for. A most pleasant and unusual experience.
By the way, as Bogie Shooter pointed out the Ace in Southern Trace always seems to have someone standing near the entrance door to be of service. I've been impressed, and that's not easy!
