The light in my lamp post (patio villa) stays on during the day. How do I fix this?

There is a sensor on the pole which
looks like a small clear circle. That has to
be replaced. Easy fix. Stop at Ace.

Try you tube for instructions. Be sure to turn the power to the light off.

Home Depot, Lowes will have the lampost and you can also buy a sensor.
Just had mine replaced by a friend and it should work for the next 15 - 20 years!
I agree with going to youtube for the video. There will be a breaker that conntrols power to your lampost.

put in a small wattage LED lamp-you won't care if it stays on

Or you are simply covering up the sensor on the pole.

Yeah, we have a vine that continues to climb over the sensor which confuses it.

could it be just a very dirty sensor lense opening.

My sensor is weird. Comes on after everybody else. Stays on longer than anybody else. I've cleaned it, turned the pole, everything I know to do. Guess it is time to replace it.
