Where's George? - Official Currency Tracking Project - (http://www.wheresgeorge.com/)

I have been using Where's George since April 2010 and putting in the details of US bills received and spent at many different places here in the Villages as well as some in the DC, Orlando and Tampa Bay area.

A few days ago I spent a $20 with "Happy Birthday" written on it at one of the Villages' many Publixes. No, I did not write this on the $20 bill but thought it kind of amusing given the impression I have been getting that my 224 613 Project has taken off due to the help of people I have tried to get involved with it since the Summer of 1991. It is great that all that work and and it looks like that of a lot of other people have put into this is starting to really take off.

The 224 613 Project is meant to help level the playing field for survivors/victims of crimes in the legal arena by giving them access to the best practical information available at the time. :posting:

224 is my birthday and 613 is my number in a 17 week study on stress on the unemployed. It took place at the University of California San Francisco Health Sciences Campus in 1992-1993. I had researcher/interviewer Myra Young. If you want to see why I believe this 224 613 Project has been important enough to give so much of my time to just Google Taltarzac725 and you should find out.

I do seem to be getting some smiles here in the Villages over the past few months which I really appreciate. Where's George is fun too. I would usually just get head scratches when I referenced this 224 613 Project or suggestions I needed psychological help when I lived in Palm Harbor, Florida from 1996-2005 while working on this as well as volunteering at Palm Harbor's two public libraries from 2000-2003 both of which were under the final say of Palm Harbor Library Director Gene Coppola. Coppola did want a piece of the action (50%) though when I first met him in the Summer of 2000 when he had been the new Library Director for a few weeks and I had been volunteering for maybe one to two months. He did not make me an offer that I could not refuse in that first meeting after opening the interview with "I do not like whiners and liars".

The strangest re-actions I have been receiving have been at Villages' area movie theaters. That is while I have been entering bills spent at these into the Where's George database since April 2010.

It has been quite fun though. I do want to stay relatively anonymous with this work though as I hope people understand. That's why I have my birthday on my Taltarzac725 as 1-24. https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/members/taltarzac725-25479/

I could not have done this work without the help of TOTV people and the many kind and caring Villagers I know. Thanks.
