I always get the bottomless soup just to see how long the spoon is going to be.

Applebees jacks the price way up then does bogo for happy hour all day.

This is how they make their profit -- hike the prices on cheaper commodities. Kinda like giving the razor away and charging an arm & leg for blades.

I had a similar experience at Square 1. They had specials for fruity-tootie kind of mix drinks. I asked if the price also applied to a basic Martini. No, that was $10. For cheap gin and a couple of olives?! Like the OP said, I asked for water. I wonder when we'll start seeing a charge of that too.

Iced Tea is cheaper and drinking a lot of it can't harm you.

Oh...except for that Indian.

They found him dead in his Teapee.

Sorry but I disagree with the OP on good food at OG.

$5.69 for a beer seems to be a bit much but then, I wouldn't go to OG, as I went once and their food, left a lot to be desired.

BTW - I am Italian.

You have to be German to enjoy it. ( But I dislike the salad...no sugar)

Italians sometimes like German restaurants. I have never been in one I liked..

So true!!!

Some people are food snobs. Luckily, my palate is not so discriminating but I know decent food, when I eat it!!! :D

There are several Italian restaurants I would go to but OG, is not one of them!!!

Nuff said!!!

I like OG salad and the lasagna. Hubby always gets soup & chicken alfredo.

I like their lasagna and salad and water.

Found out last week that you can get half priced drinks if you have to wait on a table. They will tell you to take the buzzer and show it to the bartender.

TeaPee... wow. That was so bad I actually lol-ed... well almost.

I carry my own buzzer. I keep it in the car next to my squeegee.
