First, lobbyists do not vote on bill's, our Representatives do. Lobbyist can't BUY a vote, the Representatives can and do, often say no to bills that they ALREADY do or don't support. A vote is not a commodity that can be purchased on demand by lobbyists.
To eliminate the presumption that lobbyists can buy votes, the system needs to be changed. Payed lobbyists should be banned from the hall's of government. Our Representatives need only to vote on the merits of a bill and need not be influenced be what monies might feed his Party/Campaign if he should vote a particular way.
