Thanks, Donna. I wasn't sure if it was at my end or theirs. Hope it gets back soon.

not on topic but I saw people here. My Wife and I will arrive at TV tomorrow. This will be our second lifestyle visit. One thing that we would like to do this trip is to check out the area outside of the villages. Any suggestions of what to see or where to go? Just want to check out the neighborhood.

:welcome:

There's a lot of possibilities. Obviously depends a lot on what you want/like to do. Some off-the-top-of-my-head thoughts:

Florida Carriage Museum off Marion County Road east of TV. Superb collection of vintage European and American horse-drawn vehicles.

Hommosassa State Park, west in Hommosassa uon US19. A mini-zoo, but the big attraction is "tame" manatees.

Mount Dora, historic town east on US441. Full of antique shops, interesting boutiques.

Silver Springs Theme Park. East of Ocala off State Road 40.

My problem is not the type of home but rather the model. I know what model I would like to get (Lantana) but what type is that? The Villages site does not list by model.

I have seen Lantana's under Designer and Premier, but mostly designer. If you search for 3br 2ba that narrows the field. You can tell from the pix which ones are Lantana's. Also, if your not stuck on CBS construction consider the Juniper. Same layout in vinyl, slightly larger inside dimensions.

The realtor Lyle Gant( I think that is correct name) has many homes on his website, with model names listed too :)
