Here's the latest deal. I have had three calls so far this week.
They call and say they are following up on a request I filled out "on line" for information about something. Twice it was for "internet" college classes and once it was for a hip replacement.
In none of the three cases did I ask for information. It is a new way for them to get around the "do not call" laws. If they can trick you into thinking that you accidentally, or somebody else, filled in your name, they can give you their pitch. :yuck:
It's total BS. Tell them you are not an idiot and that what they are doing is illegal and that you are going to report them to the attorney general. Ask for their name and a contact phone number. Watch the line go dead when you say that.:evil6:
