Today @ 12:10- I was already in the round about @ Stillwater & Morse when a Brown Ford Escape with Pa Tags- and a Sales sticker from the Ford dealer in Leesburg-blows thru the yield sign-then changes lanes inside of the approach to the bridge & then cuts off two cars while changing lanes on the bridge.

At least he didn't stop and back up inside the roundabout (sarcasm intended).

IMO this called the roundabout shuffle, enter right one cut through to the left lane, and swerve back to the right lane exiting the roundabout. See it all the time. I anticipate this and adjust my speed and distance so I'm not beside someone if possible.

So, in other words, just another average day driving in TV

By any chance, did there happen to be a turtle nearby?

No, but I experienced the same thing near Turtle Mound

A little off the subject but when I lived in Cleveland to change lanes you put your turn signal on count to 2 and go. Dont look behind you just change lanes. Five lanes going one way,it was fun.

Medical emergency maybe, or just a bad case of "I Gotta Win" Syndrome.

Lucky he wasn't from Boston or the Cape.

Just be glad it wasn't after 7 pm. The TOTV jury would already have him convicted of DUI.

I've seen that so much lately. I don't understand why someone would do that.
I made the drive on Buena Vista to El Camino Real twice a day and it's always an adventure. It seems like I'm the one that knows how the circles function.
And even if you follow the rules, there's always a chance that a driver that entered the circle quickly after you, and drove up next to you, will sideswipe you will exoting from the wrong lane.

After 40 years of working for a major utility and being constantly drilled on defensive driving I have adopted the theory that"their all out to get me",it has served me quite well so far.

Only the driver knows what was going on in his or her mind at the time. Always be aware of what is going on around you. There is no cure for stupid.
