I saw something suspicious at the Macdonalds in the Colony Plaza, and several of my friends have said that the roaches are back? Any other observations?

That McDonalds was closed about a year ago for health dept violations.

I never eat there. For one it is just always too crowded.

I believe those are Palmetto bugs. They are quite common in Florida. If you wish to find a place that has little bugs try Taos, New Mexico. It will be a bit cooler than the Villages and not as much to do, but hardly a bug to be seen. Someone on here is sure to offer to help you pack.

I suspect many of the restaurants here have the same problem its just not as bad or that they haven't gotten caught. Is McDonald's near PDQ?
Its why going out to eat is kept at a minimum in our household . I have a weak stomach for that sort of thing:22yikes:

They may be the oldest species on earth , and are present in most of the places where there is food served(sooner or later)

If you are going to bash a business, you need to say more than something suspicious blah blah blah. I suspect something suspicious about your post. I have other observations but don't want my post removed.

And my response to every post like this is, "and did you bring this to the attention of the management?"

My observation is that you spell McDonald's without the a! McDonald's has good coffee and neither have I or any of my golfing "buddies" seen any bugs there.

Agreed. Implied, but not actually said. Seems crafted.

And you have never seen one in your kitchen? If not, be patient you eventually will.
I see one every few months, call Massey, they treat and they are gone.
Did you actually see a roach or roach poop?

Las Vegas is the same way. It's so dry, few bugs live there. Our dog didn't need flea and tick meds, or heartworm treatment- no mosquitos (unless you go to the stagnant end of a large resort pool and Winston was never allowed near one of those; nor was I.)

We have roaches. We have Love Bugs. We have house flies. We do not have mosquitoes or horse flies. The wasps and hornets keep pretty much to themselves. I am thankful.

Everybody has bug! You can not keep bugs out, you can only limit ther presents. They slip through the tiny cracks. Cleanliness is usually first defense. Next chemical attack!

Sorry, but when I see a roach in a restaurant, I leave. Where there is one, there are hundreds.

Are you saying that YOU saw a roach? This is not what was said in the original post.

Well justjim: perhaps it is because you neglected to ask for a formal introduction. You know roaches don't perform for just anyone:D
Now on the serious side I find no reason not to believe the OP's post. We all have had a quick glimpse of something and wondered what it was. and we all have had to do somersaults to try and catch one of those buggers.
As I said in my previous post I suspect every restaurant has critters and we know that you can't corral them for long.

I was quite surprised what the most nutritious meal is at McDonald's.

Ate there last night. Saw no signs of any unwanted guests. Seems fine to me.
