Arriving soon and will be shopping for a golf cart. I am looking to find the real honest and reliable dealers in the Villages area. Looking forward to another six months in the historic side.

I shopped around and found the dealer that gave the best price, was honest and had unique options that the village dealers did not offer. I bought a Yahama gas cart from Carts & Clubs 0n SR200 in Ocala.

York...

You'll see some prior threads on here about Golf Cart Connection...and, they are an advertiser.

They are a very professional, responsive outfit and will be around to support your purchase. Our remanufactured cart came with a 3 year warranty...we've had a couple of small, but annoying, problems....they send the tech to your house and work is done onsite.

Good luck....it is one of the most important purchases you will make while living here.

Ditto with Golf Cart Connection. When you purchase from them you get a three year warranty - top to bottom - and get your cart custom built with everything new except the Club Car frame - and it is refurbished. I can't speak for their Star carts, but I imagine the service is equally good. Click on the link in TOTV to check out their operation.

York, we also had an excellent experience with Carts & Clubs in Ocala and love our golf cart They provide excellent, prompt service, in our experience.

Town and Country in the Spanish Plaines shopping center is a branch of the store a little north of downtown Ocala.

Their phone number is 352-753-9392. Ask for Lyle (the boss), or Tim. Both are very responsive. We bought ours from Tim, but I don't think it makes much difference.

we take the cart over each month for a tire pressure check and battery refill at no charge. They promote customer service with a smile.

I did much much research before committing to to the EZ-GO RXV. Could not be happier. That baby thrives on hills.

Does Carts and Clubs come to your home for service calls? And, what's the warranty period for a new Yamaha gas cart?

Best Mickey, sorry for the late reply but I wanted to talk with C & C directly for the information you requested. They do come to TV for service every Tuesday and Thursday and will perform oil changes, annual maintenance and some recall replacements can be performed on site also, if recalls should be issued. The Yamaha electric and gas golf carts have a limited 4 yr. warranty which essentially covers the all-important drive train.

Hope this helps!

Also have had good service from GCC. I too shopped around and was most satisfied with their approach and response.

Town and Country in La Plaza Grande South of Spanish Springs on 441(next to Ace Hardware) is a very reliable source for EZGOs I think they have been there for 20+ years. Ask for Kyle or Tim. Also have a store in Ocala. Tell them Josh sent you ;)

If you are looking for a good used cart I would call Jim Followell his cell phone # is 317-258-1241. He buys the carts that are traded in at The Villages golf cart stores. He is in many posts on Talk of The Villages. Just do a search and use his last name Followell to see how others feel about Jim.
