My wife and I are both 63 and I lost my employer supplied bridge healthcare insurance so are now on our own. We went directly through Florida Blue two years ago. In November I checked the ACA web site and could not find anything less than I was paying. My premiums are $1300. A month with a 3500 single deductible, 7000 family. If you have better luck let me know. It's kind of like legalize rape but not much we can do. Good Luck

The bronze plans may work for you. Too many people look at the platinum only.

If you are lucky enough to have cash to live off of you can get Obamacare for next to nothing. They don't look at assets only income that you would report when you file taxes. Great loophole if you can take advantage of it.

Just need to be careful, a minimum income must be declared otherwise ACA will not qualify you. Since Florida has not expanded Medicaid you'll get nothing, assuming you do own substantial assets.
