Broward Factory - Extended Service Warranty

Has anyone used Broward Factory for an extended service warranty service they offer for $199 plus tax per year? If so, I'd like to know your thoughts, concerns, experiences with them, timeliness, etc. Thanks in advance for your help with this request.

We have had them for several years. Many of our friends use them as well.
We have had service to our dryer twice & AC twice. Fixed, no problems. There great !

We've had them for years. They've fixed my ice maker 3 times and eventually replaced it, my dryer, my oven, my dryer, dishwasher and ac. Great service, good company.

My neighbor's refrigerator went out the day after Xmas and she has a contract with them and called. They came out the next day and with a VERY short inspection of the ref. said she needed a compressor and they would order or they would give her $200 to buy a new ref. She chose to order part. 16 days without a ref. and the came back with the compressor and installed it. Told her to wait 24 hrs to get cold. Next day, no cold. Called them back and they said "was afraid of that, guess it's a restriction". At this point she was fed up and said she'd get a new ref. and could she have the $200 that was offered towards a new ref. They said no because she chose to get the part. IMO she should get the $200 or refund the so-called contract. It was their misdiagnoses that caused 16+ days of no refrigeration.

I've been wondering myself about Broward Factory Warranty Service.
What did you decide?

I've had a few clients who have had Broward. Unless the appliance was completely inoperative, the stock response was that the item was operating properly although the dishwasher was leaving two inches of water when done, the fridge was loud enough to wake the dead, the microwave would take ten minutes to heat a cup of coffee and the washing machine was supposed to agitate that slowly. It would normally take three calls to get something repaired. Definitely not my favorite company . I much prefer dealing with Service America.

Not sure at this point.....kind of a mixed bag on the feedback I've gotten. Will see if I get any other feedback before deciding.

We have had Broward for 4 years every time we called they were right there and fixed the problem. I highly recommend them
