When I watched the halftime show with Cold Play, Bruno Mars, and Beyonce, I thought it as an exciting performance putting together different genres of music.

When I turned Fox & Friends on this morning for my 10 minute comedy spot before getting to see real news on MSNCC and heard that Beyonce's performance glorified Malcolm X because the dance troupe formed an "X"; their leather bustieres were a tribute to Black Panthers, and one dancer presumably had a sheet of paper with a political message - my evaluation of the halftime show went sky-high! I LOVED it!!!

Man, Fox News had to dig really deep to get those connections. I remember seeing Black Panthers in the '60's but NOT in leather bustieres.

Anyhow, great halftime show - now made even better by Fox News. Thank you, Fox News!

Yo wack job!

They like the other media got the info from their handler's/managers/helpers.

Are yo so tuned out you don't know how these things work?

You are once again tossing chum on the water and if everybody on here that knows that they, like I will not provide you any counterpoint. Counterpointing to zero continues to add to zero.

Enjoy your self gratification. I t has obciously become a habit.

MSNCC must be rated higher than MSNBC beings MSNBC at the bottom of barrel in ratings! What's that say about there limited viewers?

Now what makes anyone think that Beyonce's performance had anything to do with the Black Panthers that formed 50 years ago in the Bay Area?

Never saw a Black Panther in the leather bustiere nor the long stockings.

As for the black leather jackets, I have seen quite a few old wwhite dudes wearing them while riding their motorcycles. They don't remind me of Black Panthers either.

Anyhow, I liked the show and it was well received by most people.

The press releases specifically stated she was dedicating her routine to just exactly reported on fox and any other station/network that needed fill in material.

Ok so you liked it. The fox blast? Unfounded and unwarranted. But we all know to some that matters not.

Halftime sucked. Total chaos. Didn't really care about the Black Panther thing, but I can see the hint at it. Cold Play would have been enough. The National Anthem was done very nicely, even with the weirdo makeup. It's unfortunate that a woman with such talent finds it necessary to put weird costumes on. Unlike Miley Cyrus, Beyonce and several others, LG has talent and doesn't need the weird getup.

But, I watch the SuperBowl for the game, not the half time.

Hope I fed the troll enough to keep him occupied for a while. Idiots do need their childish taunting in order to keep them from becoming violent in school.

I thought Bruno Mars stole the show including the football. Couldn't hear the Coldplay dismal performance. Beyoncé was lack luster IMO. Even msn reporting the black panther connection, to the rant about Fox News is lame.

It was all downhill after lady gaga. Incredible how these low life's can't control their emotions and have personal foul penalties called against them. Football like many things American worships thugs.

Beyonc (http://www.theguardian.com/music/2016/feb/08/beyonce-black-panthers-homage-black-lives-matter-super-bowl-50)

It was obviously there. Artists making a statement about something they care about. We do have a First Amendment protecting this kind of thing.

I liked the half-time show at the 50th Super Bowl. It was edgy.

There is NO First Amendment when it comes to being paid to perform. You do what you are told to do and you don't change it to fit your radical agenda without permission of those paying you.

Her "black lives matter" cr@p was just that. Along with her black panther cr@p. Byonce is just another of the many low lifes populating the degenerate entertainment industry. Many of them with low talent and couldn't make it without their gimmicks. Half time has become the convenient time to prepare a snack without missing any of the game. The half time entertainment(?) is for the kids. Like the Occupy Wall St miscreants, this was just more chaos. Another great reason to have DVR so that you can fast forward through the teenybopper cr@p.

Here are a couple of links reporting the same news that some think fox fabricated.

The original post slamming fox, unfounded as usual, only emphasizes and underscores the fact that credibility is not a concern to some.

Actually, anything that is NOT racist would be an improvement. Anything that is NOT trying to make a radical point would be nice. Everything in life doesn't have to be controversial and against something. But, the young are always against something, always angry. Entertainment could be positive. I know that in itself is radical, right?

They rehearsed this probably so that there was no surprise about what was going to be in there show. Many of the NFL players are also African-American so they would be able to understand the point of view being taken by both Beyonce and Bruno Mars.

Sorry for them, but that doesn't make it right. They(players) are getting paid big money to entertain us, not worry about what controversial agenda is being given at half time. I will bet that the sponsors did NOT know that the entertainment was going to be racial and radical. I have no use for special treatment of any ethnic group. Blacks exploit any little empathy and decent treatment they receive. Treating someone with equal respect is one thing, but to give special treatment is also discrimination. I am not going to sit around and allow someone to disparage me when my family had nothing to do with slights perceived by the blacks, or Hispanics, or Muslims. If they want to be treated fairly and equally, then they should blend in and act equally normal. I don't bend my American standards for foreign or ethnic cultures. They are here, in America and need to realize that this is a country with it's own culture. Accept it or not, but don't try to tell us that we HAVE to recognize their culture. I see nothing wrong with telling them all that if they don't like it here, then find someplace else that better conforms to their standards and whims. Most likely, they won't find another land that is as patient with them as we are.

...and here is one more contender for The Villages Tea Bag Party "White Sheet of the Week" award. It is a multi-contender entry, too, in different categories!

Using two British tabloids to make a point seems pointless..

How amusing....funny...even gut busting laughter.
Always.....ALWAYS..... ignore the message and go after the messenger.

Talk about pointless. I suppose you would have a different response for the same stuff from USA sources....wait a minute....:1rotfl:......

Maybe you are not familiar with....most likely ignore the fact that these groups all have press release kits that assures their message is getting out the way they want it to be heard and seen.

And as usual I am not sure why other than the usual bash the opposition it matters as long as you like it.
I really think you are trying to cover the egg on your face for trying to make the reporting of the racial messages sound like it was a fox idea.

Just like trying to have a discussion with a playbook loop.

Sure and you are a member of the Black Panthers. Oops, you aren't black. You're just a wannabee, scared little liberal that needs us to pay your way. Don't worry son, some of us might be around to protect you when one of those radical groups that you sympathize with, turns on you. Another extreme opinion from someone that's been protected all his life. Anyone that doesn't agree with his ignorance is a radical racist or sexist. Funny thing is that you liberals have done the most damage when it comes to race.

Tip: If you wish to be recognized as anything other than an ignorant juvenile, try addressing the subject instead of addressing the poster with your stupid personal remarks. That way, no one will know how young and childish your really are. Of course, you might have to know something or have some sort of experience in life in order to convince anyone that you know what you are talking about.

Better to associated with the Tea Party, a compliment than to be a coward. You are more closely associated with such as:

Francesco Schettino
Muammar Gaddafi
Ted Kennedy
Yiannis Avranas
Jack McCall
Robert Ford

and

Judas Iscariot

NOBODY......was defending any source. You stand corrected as your accusation is untrue/incorrect.

I merely acknowledged the source and stated there were just as many in the USA.

That was all. You know what they say about passing a message down the line of 10 or more people? It will not sound anything like the original statement.

Here on TOTV it stars to go sideways with the second one!

As an aside, I will speculate. A judgement about the character of the sources is being made based on the front pages exhibited. My observation.

The Super Bowl is for our entertainment not to subliminally pass any geo political messages to me or my family. How dare Beyonce salute the Black Panther Party and how dare CBS allow that crap to be telecasted to my living room where my precious grandchildren were watching the game with us. Coldplay...catchy tune...Bruno Mars unbelievable talent. Beyonce...never want to hear her or say her name again or have my family exposed to her BS. No one else recognized what her message was.It took me about a minute to put it together. I'm surprised the guy with a love child, or the guy who got thrown off the stage at the Morton Downey Jr show weren't there taping their foot to the racist tunes.

The National Anthem was great, second only to Whitney Houston....

Half time show sucked from top to bottom bring back Katy Perry and the sharks.

Now the outcome of the game was outstanding..... Go Broncos!! Offense sells tickets....Defense wins games and rebounding wins championships a quote from a great women's basketball coach Pat Summitt!.

Just heard today that one of the police organizations has decided to boycott any Beyonce concerts.

Now, that is a laugh. Will it mean two less tickets for her years worth of concerts?

It would be similar to The Villages saying they will boycott all Kanye West concerts at The Sharon!

She is a scumbag without a brain. The only reason anyone watches her is because she has a big @ss rivaled only by the kardashians. Who cares about her racist cr@p? Anyone that didn't notice her reference to the Black Panthers and then Black Lives Matter, are either too blind or too uninformed. Thank goodness Lady Gaga didn't blow the National Anthem like many of the previous celebrities. I admit that she did an excellent job. As for the half time show, I would rather have seen the military bands and honor guards perform. IMO Follywood celebrities are being given way too much royalty treatment. Are we so envious of the Britts and their Royalty that we need to create our own? Did we forget why we separated from Europe?

Well, old dude, YOU are not in the demographics that the show as aimed at. YOU may rather have seen the military bands and drill teams BUT he show is put on for the ones who spend the money. YOUR demographic group is not worth the time anymore and the younger crowd is now in charge.

Not to take anything from you and your generation but another generation is now on top.

You are probably correct in your assumption. Whether or not you can claim another generation "on top" is entirely by one's perception. It's probably not something to brag about, for sure. After all, just because a generation claims to be in charge or responsible for the lead, does not make it right or good. Just saying. The entertainers of today are scum in many cases, by ANYBODY's standard, not restricted to my generation. As a matter of fact, there is going to be many wishing for our kind of generation before long. Evidence is seen by the amount of support that Trump is generating. Not that I am a Trump supporter. That other generation that you claim is at the top, is also the generation that made the mistake of supporting the current failure that we have in the White House.

I look back with nostalgia at the uproar caused by a "wardrobe malfunction". Times were so much more innocent then....

Janet Jackson set off a Super Bowl firestorm last night when her right breast was bared during her nationally televised halftime show duet with Britney Spears' ex-squeeze, Justin Timberlake.

Michael Jackson's little sister ended Timberlake's "Rock Your Body" with the heartthrob ripping off the leather cup that covered her breast as he sang, "Gotta have you naked by the end of this song."
