I thought he was very positive is his assessment. I agree that President Obama and First Lady brought dignity to the Whitehouse.

The kids and the dogs added to the picture of a positive atmosphere in the White House. It's been a good run as far as family goes these last 15 years.

Bill screwed up the family thing with his dalliance and the fact that Socks the cat was ostracized because of Buddy the dog.

Dignity??? That's the best joke I have heard in a long time. Obama's showed the most dignity when they were eating Ribs in Ashville, NC and held their pinky up.

You just can't stand a conservative saying something positive about President Obama. Pathetic

David Brooks article would ring true, if he wasn't a direct descendant of Benedict Arnold. Castration is the penalty for any Republican that has anything good to say about President Obama.

Nothing to say about someone who demonstrated at the end of his first year that he was and still is incapable of being POTUS. He had both houses of congress controlled by the democrats. What did he get done, during their two year rule. Nothing.

He thinks talking about a subject is the same as taking action to make or change something.

He thinks as long as he states something that he has honored his commitment.

As for committments, he does not honor them what so ever.

Measured on promised made VS promises kept he got a zero the first year and each year thereafter.

He found out he was not a king and could not rule or bully not only his congress but the ones that followed as well.

His legacy will be that of the most incompetent president ever in office. That he emaculated our mighty armed forces. That he emasculated the capability of America in the eyes of every foreign power. He has given way to most of our enemies under the guise of conciliation. He has taken race relations backwards to where it was 50 years ago. He has allowed our enemies to do what ever they wish with no consequence. He has destroyed our laws governing immigration and by default created and supports open borders.

So who in their right mind would say anything good about an empty suit, limp wristed, linguine spined incompetent?

Name calling, sarcasm, nastiness...all things not demonstrated by the current president. I can't believe how angry and mean some of the posters are. People can respectfully
disagree.

So the choices are

Obama = good

ANY non-Obama = bad.

So I must be bad. I said when he was elected he was not qualified for the job, but I would reserve my judgement until he presents his first state of the union.

If he were an executive in my company he would have been removed from the job before the year was up.

So now he has been allowed to give 7 state of the unions and all that can be said is what I concluded at the first one. He was and is unqualified for the job. He has subsequently abused to power of the office and allowed to do so time and again because of the race based environment he has created. And in our overly permissive society ain't nobody going to risk going after the first black POTUS......hence the unearned tnure in the job and the destruction of the core values and strenths of America.

Not being negative one bit when the only thing some of us do is call a spade a slade and give him his due.

Yes, Obama. You know, the one that said "Republicans are your enemy" or "you didn't build that" or when he said police are stupid or racist. When he told the world that Muslims were instrumental in the building of America or influenced the modernization of the world. Or when he defended a scumbag like Tavon Martin, or when he didn't arrest Hillary for her felonies, or when he had Holder stop AZ from enforcing immigration laws, etc, etc. You probably know as many of the irresponsible things he has said that has divided the country as I do.
