I havent posted on TOTV except for the Horse park and this election and after tomorrow will go back to being a lurker (stop the applause now).

I just wanted to say that whomever is elected should be in all our prayers for blessings of wisdom and judgement. Whomever it is will be OUR President and should get all our support, not to say if we disagree we shouldnt vent.

Please all vote tomorrow if you can and whatever you do, be as passionate and involved in two years when the important elections for congress will take place.

To those I may have offended at any time, I apologize...I tried very hard to be respectful of the candidates no matter what.

Again, whomever wins, my God bless them in every way !

You're absolutely right, Bucco. Whoever wins needs to have the country join ranks and support him in some very difficult times. If it's Barack Obama, as it appears it will be, he will have considerable ability to make some things happen in Congress. We all certainly won't agree with everything that's done, but both of the candidates were patriotic enough to devote a couple of years of their lives to getting in a position to have a positive influence on our country. How many of us would be willing to make a similar sacrifice? It's hard to imagine that either candidate is anything but sincere. They need our unqualified support.

It's been fun exchanging thoughts with you for the past few weeks. But like I observed early on after we began our exchanges, I know we didn't change one another's political preferences. And I doubt that even our most heartfelt opinions changed how anyone else voted either.

But like the TV networks, pundits and talk show hosts...what are we going to do after tomorrow night?

Couldnt agree more, everyone needs to vote. It is already a great victory for the American way with all masses exercising their right to vote early. Dont matter who you vote for, it only matters that you VOTE.
There have been alot of heated debates in the Politcal Talk section of this board, but folks that is what makes us great. we can do that without fear someone is secrectly watching and will remove us during the night from our homes because we dont like something or someone.
I served this Country proudly in the USMC. Would do it agian and again. We are one in the same, a free country with the right to state our opionion, so let your be known today. GET OUT AND VOTE

Bucco: excellent post.......this country is in trouble, please vote. Then put partisan politics aside and unite behind our next president. No matter who wins their task is daunting on all levels, and the support of the American people will be crucial to his success and our country.

I agree. We all need to unite around the new president and congress, no matter who they are.

do people call on God when they have done everything to avoid Him?
God is not a magic genie to call upon whenever ---
