There were no takers, so we had to get rid of the bumper crop. Definitely will plant a lot less next time.........

Oh, villagetinker, don't feel bad. You tried........

It made me think of the time my dad had a bumper crop of black-eyed peas. We shelled and shelled and shelled, even. But we never could get rid of them. He also liked to plant turnips which I did not like as a kid, but now I do. In fact, I think turnips are "in" now.

If you ever have a bumper crop of lovely little lettuce, please let me know. Just me. :)

If you still have any collard greens left I would love them. I volunteer for a sanctuary for endangered reptiles, the turtles and many species of iguanas would really enjoy them. I would save some for me too! Thank you Kim 330-289-2081, if I don't answer please leave a message (at work).

Sorry, the trash was picked by the time we got home. I will keep this in mind for the future.

Thanks anyway. Please keep me in mind for the future. They eat any types of greens, veggies and fruit (no citrus). Any food or other donations are greatly appreciated.
