I was changing the ink in this printer. Slipped the cartridge into the plastic holder. When pushing the holder lid down it would not close. After looking it appears a piece of the plastic holder that holds the cartridge has broken. Can this piece be replaced or do I have to ditch this otherwise good printer? Any recommendations on who I could contact here in The Villages to repair?

TIA

Not familiar with this printer, but if the design is similar to the Canon, you may need a new print head ($$$). Check on the internet for new print head cost, so you have an idea up front on cost. Our last printed died with a print head error, it was cheaper to but a NEW printer then repair the old, go figure..............
Now as to your specific question, try MMD on 441 near 466. I used them for a laptop repair, very good and reasonable. Not sure if they do printers.
