driveway parking

Are we allowed to leave a car in the driveway over night or do we have to park in the garage?

I live in a Savannah style Villa and many of us park a car in our drive and have for several years. Some park partly into the street and this is not to be done in Villas as they have informed those who park into the street. I don't know about the homes but would think it to be the same.

We rented a 'Ranch Home' last year, and always parked in the drive, as it was so BIG!! We could have parked 4 cars in that drive! None of the resident neighbours said anything to us, either bad or good, so assumed it was ok.

I may be wrong , but I believe it is ok to park a normal car or small truck in your drive. But it may be a problem for a large truck or large commercial vehicle.
