Hi, finding a chiro is a real challenge, it can take time.
Moving to the villages, I have already tried three, and that is not going to work. I will admit, I am hard to adjust, very. For the first item, when I go to a good chiro, he can get me on the first time and that one time is it for awhile, maybe a month. I find some chiros will insist on repeat business, that is good for them but not for me. A person on here made a comment about being from North or S. Carolina. In New Bern, NC I found an amazing guy, Dr. Frogley, that is not a joke, he was amazing, first time a good fix. Now I need a Lear Jet so I can go see him about every month or so.

Do you know if your Chiro is a graduate of the Palmer School?
Also important to me is that a good one will get me aligned in ONE visit.
More than one visit is not a good thing, it does not work for me. After one visit, if it is ok then I do not need to go until I get out of whack, like moving furniture or helping someone lift something or whatever. So I have to be easy on those items, leave them alone. A good Chiro is a gift of pain free life, and they are hard to find. I go to an absolute magician on the West Coast, I told him when we move to the Villages, permanently, he will have to meet me half way, like in Kansas or? Ha ha.

Just a warning - be very leery of using the Davis Clinic in The Villages. Check with Seniors Vs Crime before you sign up with him and then decide what you want to do.

Legasy Clinic in Laural Manor. I go to Dr. Chris Kessler but see Dr. John Theek on occasion. 352-259-0024.

I am leery of Chiros but find them to run a very ethical practice. If you attend the Golfest, they will have a booth. Tell them Paul Z, sent you.

Legacy Clinic in Laurel Manor is an excellent, ethical practice. I have been treated by all three Drs. and like them all. They have been dedicated to getting to the root of my hip and sciatic pain, including referring me to Dr. Olivierre at the Florida Musculoskeletal Institute.

You will be better off using this guy. In fact, his medical credentials probably exceed all chiropractors.

Here's the attention you're obviously craving. We get it, you don't like chiropractors. Geesh.

What I am trying to do is stimulate a conversation out of the Middle Ages and into our age of science. I apologize if I hit a sore spot with you. Perhaps we can discuss the effectivity of chiropractors without resorting to personal insults.

No sore spot at all, and Ive never been to one. And no, you're not trying to stimulate an intelligent conversation, in fact you're insulting everyone on this site that has used a chiropractor.

To use the word intelligent and chiropractor in the same sentence is an oxymoron.
The flat earth society may want to join in. Don't you think ?

The OP was looking for chiropractor recommendations, not a general discussion on the merits of using chiropractor services.

Please stay on topic.

Avoid Davis Chiropractic with a passion! Slick scam.

RickeyD, have you considered that some posters might consider the above remark to mean that those people who use Chiropractors are unenlightened and in the Middle Ages?

No. People who are in pain will seek help wherever they may find it. Charlatans posing as doctors provide what they seek using slick ad's and unfounded scientific claims all the while hiding behind the cloak of government sanctioning because of powerful lobbying. The vitamin industry in this country does the very same thing. Insurance company's play along unwillingly because of these lobbying efforts as well. Ask any medical doctor what they think of chiropractors, that's good enough for me.

Beware of Davis Clinic. Pay per visit. Don't agree to a treatment plan.
