Thanks Barefoot. It is all to easy too get busy with our own lives and take for
granted the blessing our way of life is and especially those who have
sacrificed to help keep it that way. This really points that out!

Very poignant, Bare, thank you for sharing the link. I'm sending it on to our children and friends and I don't do that often.

Thank you Barefoot for helping me remember what is really important in life and to stop being so unhappy and moaning about not being able to sell our home and move to TV. We have so much to be thankful for and that's whats important.

Bare,
That was beautiful...I cried b/c I am so proud of all of our men and women who fight each day to keep us safe. God bless them, and may they return home safely. Thank you for that posting.

How does one from Clayton get connected to The Villages?
I have an excuse due to being originally from Chicago.

Bare,
Thank you so much for that video and song. They, along with the accompanying story, are new to me. Like many others, I think my tear ducts might have been just a bit too exposed. I will be forwarding this to a ton pf folks. Beats the hell out of all the political BS I've been getting from both sides.

Muncle took the words out of my mouth. New to me. Tears flow freely with such sentiments as this. On 11-11 at 11 AM, I will be silent, I will reflect, I will be thankful and I will pray. God Bless all our veterans, past present and future. Bare, Thank you for sharing! What a wonderful song and message!

Yes, that video always makes my eyes leak also. I'm glad to share it. I am so humble and respectful of the contributions that brave men and women have made in the past. And continue to make right now.
And Muncle, I agree that it beats the hell out of all the political BS that's been going on.
