Janet, It is tomorrow, Friday, at 3:00. We usually meet on the outside patio of Crispers if the weather is good. Crispers is in the Publix shopping center on 466 near the schools. Hope you can make it.

Maybe, maybe.
Too much stuff going on in the way of passions today so I may wait a few more months --until after November 2016-- before meeting more people at Crispers. I am at Doggie Doo Run Run most every day but at different times if people do want to meet me. That's just up the street (CR101) from Crispers and that way if certain subjects are brought up I have the option --without being rude -- of exiting. That's hard for me to do in a setting like a restaurant. There are some great people at Doggie Doo Run Run too if I am not around. I have been going there since late 2006 while looking for a pooch and then adopting Sport in January of 2007. Then getting Beau in March of 2014.
I do hope the rest of you have fun later today at Crispers.
When certain subjects come up at Doggie Doo Run Run too I usually just walk the dog some more. No sense in getting my blood pressure and stress levels up or that of other people.
There have been some very committed people on TOTV of late and I would like to have some control over the conversations without being impolite. And such emotions are not good for my digestion IMHO.
I am a very quiet librarian after all. And I do not like confrontation. Even though I majored in Philosophy and earned a law degree from the University of Minnesota, I do not like to argue. I do love to try to educate through links though as well as common sense approaches. My MA in Librarianship from the University of Denver, my 224 613 Project (Google Taltarzac725), and my BA in History for the University of Nevada, Reno reflect that interest in research and in digging about topics. The internet's many search engines are great tools for doing in-depth research.
And I found a very fun book to read which I have a limited amount of time as I checked it out yesterday from Lady Lake Library and it is a seven day book. The Road to Little Dribbling: Adventures of an American in Britain by Bill Bryson | 9780399566783 | Paperback | Barnes & Noble (http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-road-to-little-dribbling-bill-bryson/1122624773?ean=9780399566783&st=PLA&sid=BNB_DRS_Core+Shopping+Books_00000000&2sid=Google_&sourceId=PLGoP305&k_clickid=3x305)
The book by Bill Bryson is hilarious. The Road to Little Dribbling. It is a real easy way of keeping the stress levels down as laughter is very good medicine.
I could spend many a happy afternoon with a Bill Bryson book. Bill Bryson | Official Website of Bill Bryson (http://www.billbrysonbooks.com/) Or maybe I will need a nap for staying up late because of worrying about hotheads possible showing up at Crispers. That's why I am early this morning at 4:00 AM.

Dude, you don't owe anyone here an explanation. This medium is for entertainment purposes only, and some occasional info.

Tal.
Always do what makes you comfortable. In all of the years I have attended Crispers, I cannot think of any arguments or tension.
You Tal, are one of the posters who I feel I know like a friend. Hope to meet you some day in person.
Your friend,
Gracie.

Glad that people had fun.

What a large crowd attended on Friday I was overwhelmed when we got there. It was especially nice to meet people who had just moved here or were in the process of moving. Such a diverse group of people and so much information was shared it was really a wonderful example of why Don and I host them. I will admit sometimes I am not up for it but then we have a group like this. :) Thank you DonH57, Chiefjohn33, Salgent, Mattiegent, STPitcher, Eileenny2tv, MikeandNancy1112, SusuS, 2BNTV, Graciegirl, Helene, TrudyM (and Larry), Northstar, TonyC, LoriC and Sandtrap for taking the time to spend some of it with us. See you next month. :mademyday:

Thank you again so much for diligently keeping this tradition going.
I am sorry we missed Sandtrap. It was so delightful to put face to name and as usual, some wonderful new folks showed up. Just here two weeks from Alaska, Northstar and his wife were basking in the sun. Unfortunatly our circle was kind of elongated and with the music out on the patio, and my not great hearing, I missed much of what was said from the end farthest from us.
NYguy and his beautiful wife were both just as nice in person as he is in print. 2BNTV and Eileeny, and Trudy and Susu and Nancy all wonderful to see again and again.
Thank you once again Ellen and Don for keeping this going.
