So the Pope is suggesting that Trump is not a Christan. You have to be kidding. By the way the Pope is the one that wants the Catholics and the Muslims to find common ground. Really? Why is he even concerned about politics in this country he's not an American so stay out of it. Even if I didnt like Trump I would vote for him now. And obama is not going to the judges funeral, well I guess that proves what he thinks of America but hea he is still going to go to Cuba hope they keep him. The nicest thing I can say about him, what a dirt bag. This really shows what a good democrat he is. Democrats should hide their heads on this one. Congress should buy out his contract and send him packing. I know they can't do that but it would be nice. Good thought maybe we should look into that. YOUR FIRED. ha

Pope Francis questions Donald Trump's Christianity - BBC News (http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-35607597)
Way to go for the Pope. A lot of the verbiage thrown by the Donald has nothing to do with Christianity but a lot to do with the Seven Deadly sins in other parts of The Bible.
I cannot see how anyone protesting to be a Christian would vote for Donald Trump.

It's "professing" not "protesting." I am assuming that is the correct word you were searching for.
What does Christianity have to do with being a president? That is never a quality that you liberals look for in a candidate, so why would it make a difference if a GOP candidate is Christian or not? What does the Pope have to do with OUR Free country anyway? He comes from a socialist country that has it's own problems.
I don't plan to vote for Trump unless he gets the nomination, but some attacks are just stupid. I am not catholic so what the Pope thinks is irrelevant. As far as I know, Trump never stated that he was Catholic.
We have enough trouble with the idiot in the White House, that we don't need outside interference from someone that doesn't even have a vote in our Country. No disrespect for the Pope intended. He seems like a good man, even if a bit too nosy.

I think that the Pope should stick with religion and stay away from politics. Hopefully, he is better at religion than he is with politics.

Gee. Who was it that invited this Pope to speak to both the Senate and the House? Which party is in control of those institutions? Oh, it was the GOP that wanted to hear what the Pope had to say about the world and policy and the view of the Catholic church. So which party insists on mixing politics with religion and claims that god is on their side? Don't like it when he calls you out for not following the words of your lord?

They also invited Israel's leader to speak, but that doesn't make them JEWS.
Funny how you atheists insist on setting up standards for us to live by, disregarding any ethics or morals yourself. And, at the end of the day, it is you that end up the losers. Let us know when you want to come over from the dark side. We'll guide you. :ho:

So the Pope feels that Trump is not a Christian for wanting a wall at the border. Hmmm, interesting. And yet there is a wall around the Vatican. Can anyone say hypocrisy?

The Pope said building walls is not a Christian thing to do. He did NOT say Trump was not a Christian.

So, was the wall built around the Vatican constructed by non-Christians, to keep the Catholics inside?
Why don't you set us all at ease and give us the exact quote so that we can determine his intent ourselves?

Pope: As reported at The Telegraph - Telegraph online, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Telegraph - Telegraph (http://www.telegraph.co.uk)
"A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the Gospel."
"As far as whether I would advise to vote or not to vote, I am not going to meddle in that. I say only that this man is not Christian if he has said things like that."
Not sure if this is how he meant it interpreted, but if he gave this impression, then he has stuck his nose into our politics.

What does that have to do with the qualifications of president? Are you a Christian? Never mind, because you answered that question by asking.

It might make a difference is he was campaigning for the position of Pope. Although, maybe the Pope didn't quite sound very Christian-like with his comment. Not that I care, because I am not Catholic and he is not an American.

The wall around the Vatican was built mostly in the 900's. The reason was to keep the invasion from the Muslim's from Turkey out. So we are no different with a wall being built at our Mexican border.

Much of the Vatican is accessible except for the private area of the Pope and his various staff.

Key word "accessible." Trump says ours will be "accessible" also. But, like the Vatican, there will be rules and limits. Fact is, that the Pope talks the talk, but does he walk the walk?
Ironic that the Vatican wall was built to keep Muslim invaders out.
