Does anyone know the rules for having a family member (retired single sister) move in to your home? Does she pay her own amenity fee? Or does she get her ID through us? Or is a third resident not allowed? Thank you

I think this is what your looking for.
Village Community Development Districts (http://www.districtgov.org/departments/Community-Service/idCards.aspx)
http://www.districtgov.org/departments/Community-Service/Residency-requirements-for-non-owners.pdf

My son moved in with us for a while, they wanted 4 forms of ID mentioned in the second link.
She would not have to pay amenity fees, that would be covered by yours. He was also given a
golf number and if you pay the yearly fee on the regular courses he was also included on that.

I thought that you needed to have your name on the deed to be able to use the amenities.

our son moved in and he brought all the required forms to
obtain his Village ID.

The non-home owner IDs are blue and good for three years or so. http://www.districtgov.org/departments/Community-Service/Residency-requirements-for-non-owners.pdf I have been here in the Villages with my parents since 2005 working on my 224 613 Project as a hobby. It keeps me busy at times; idle at others. Google Taltarzac725. :posting:

I have really loved my time in the Villages.

Thank you for the info!

Your so very welcome.

No graciegirl .. you do not have to be on the deed. You just need the proof requested and like Taltarzac725 said, it's good for 3 years and needs to be renewed every 3 years after that. No way I'd be putting 1 kids name on my deed. It wouldn't be fair to the other 2. They can wait to inherit it. :icon_wink:
