Several years ago, the Senate passed a bipartisan bill that gave illegals a path to citizenship. Were the Republican Senators, who voted for the bill, citizens then? If they weren't, were they illegals?

You just don't get it. Taking a hard line on the illegal immigrants issue guarantees that Hispanics won't vote for the Republican nominee. Democrats don't need any additional Hispanic votes. I believe it is more like 12 million or more, but I would do the same thing, deport them. After all, that is the procedure, unless you prefer to abandon federal laws. And why would the best country in the world care what other countries think? I don't. I have been to other countries and lived overseas. They all want to criticize us but all of them want to emulate us, but can't. They hate us and at the same time, envy us because they believe that all Americans are rich. And if you compare our middle class with theirs, we are.

We don't have a great country by selective enforcement of the laws. We are not against immigration. We are against gov corruption and the gov allowing certain groups to violate the law and then enforcing the laws of their choice.
