Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 26, for a special event to support the Humane Society/SPCA of Sumter County and Leesburg Humane Society with a very unique event. There will be two industrial paper shredding trucks in the parking lot of the Buffalo Ridge Animal Hospital from 8:30 a.m. to noon so folks can securely shred all their unwanted paperwork containing personal information. PLEASE COME OUT AND SUPPORT THIS EVENT EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY PAPER TO SHRED! 100 PERCENT OF YOUR DONATION WILL GO TO THE HUMANE SOCIETIES. Your donation is tax deductible if you write a check. Just pay to order of Humane Society and save the record for your taxes. No binders or bulk commercial items will be accepted.

Please respond to this notice to keep it going or if you have any questions.

A great way to get rid of those papers you don't want to just put out in the trash and you'll be helping puppies and kitties at the same time. Certainly a win win!

Thank you. Last year we donated more than $10,000 to two local Humane Societies. Please help us match this amazing number this year. Your donation is tax deductible if you write a check. Just make it out to Humane Society. You can also designate either the Sumter County Humane Society or the Leesburg Humane Society.

Just a reminder of this Saturday's PAPER SHRED to benefit the Humane Societies of Sumter and Lake Counties. Bring your household paper (no commercial or binders, please) and consider dropping a donation in the bucket!

It is FREE. You do not have to donate. But, we appreciate any little bit to help homeless cats and dogs. Remember, no commercial items or binders. Thank you all for your support. I will report the results this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed that the rain holds off. We'll be out there rain or shine.
