They absolutely rocked the Savannah Center on Friday night. This group was outstanding. They were spot on with all of Chicago's music. Quite possibly the best musical performance I've seen in The Villages. Big kudos and thanks to The Villages Entertainment! If they come back I'll be first in line for a ticket. If you like Chicago then you should too. Anyone else see the performance? If so, what did you think?

I would have liked to have seen that!

We were there. This was the second time we have seen them and they are fabulous. We love Chicago. We have their album on our iPod in our bathroom and we play their music along with other bands of that period when we shower.

We went with neighbors last night, sitting 4th row from stage. Looked that Savannah was sold out. SO agree - the BEST music/tribute ever! I'm born/raised in Chicago, but still - such wonderful music.
Trivia - the band's original name was 'Chicago Transit Authority', but the CTA sued them, and they shortened. This tribute band, "Beginnings" has been touring since 2002, and from NY.
What a night last night - 8 piece band, like the original. The 4-piece brass section was simply perfect and had such high energy. Instrumentation was spot-on, and vocals were quite good. Yes the place was rockin'. They played all the Chicago hits - tons of them - even had an original band member there for a few selections, a guitarist.
We have been to quite a few Tribute band performances since becoming TVrs - this was by far, the best. They only had one performance but glad they were there - and yes, as the OP said - if they come back we would definitely come back too.

Your first after me!!!! :D
Myself and several friends went last night and thought they were fabulous. Second time for me, so I knew they were great.
I said before they saw "Beginnings", "If you close your eyes, you would think the real Chicago was on stage. They agreed.
I even thought they were better than the "Toronto all Stars" and that is saying a lot.

Yes they were WONDERFULL!!! We went to the late show and the place was full. We did not realize how many great hits they had!! Little disappointed they did not play the full version of "Color My World" which was one of their biggest hits. We will go back again to see them when they are back in town. We do feel "Hotel California" tribute to the Eagles was a bit better. But both shows were excellent!!!

We were at the first show and it was not sold out. What a shame. We have seen Beginnings before and went with 12 friends who had not seen them before. All were amazed. They are a fantastic group. We will go every time they are here. Not the show to miss.

Third time for us... will not be our last.. This group is one of the best shows in the Villages. They are full energy from start to finish. They also really appear to love performing here.
The Chicago band member who was here last night was Don Dacus. He replaced Terry Kath who was one of the original guitarists. Don was great and it only added to the performance. So happy for this band to be able to have Don:BigApplause: perform along with them. They really gave us 150% in a show.
