Or on an even larger scale. The SEC could become TVC. (The Villages Conference.) if Peyton Manning and Tom Brady keep playing we can have the Senior (Super) Bowl as part of the Senior Games.

In about 3 billion years, our sun will die out in a supernova. About 1 billion years before that the sun will expand and envelop the Earth in it's corona, thus incinerating us. At that time, TV real estate will still be selling "the final phase":1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

No problem with growth as long as they build enough shopping / Grocery Stores to accommodate (as well as amenities)

The folks who build the buildings and sell them are not the same folks who buy OR RENT the buildings and do things like sell groceries in them. The amenities of golf and recreation centers are in place before homes go up.

The sun has too little mass to explode supernova style. It will shrink into a white dwarf after it's red giant phase

Has the developer through the various media and official spokespersons ever said they are nearing buildout until recently ? Why is the new Rohan recreational center themed with all the various Villages landmarks, activities and people ? Because they are nearing buildout with CDD 11 and That's All Folks ! Conspiracy buildout theorists will continue to thrive because that's what people do. The developer has done all they will do within the contiguous boundaries of the existing.

Looks like a ton of farm land west of 301. If they can go 12 miles north/south why not 12 miles east/west too. AND, in friendly Sumter County!

Back in 2010 at a POA meeting, Mark Morse stood on the stage and said we will be building 2000 homes south of 466A and that's it. No more.
I was there.

Last time I was down CR42 pass the baptist church which was last week nothing going on down there. I think they are still in negotiations with church which has stalemated. Unless somebody else has new information?
Lots of grading going on the other side of the VA clinic. Negotiation has to happen with the church for cart access along church property. Or they will have to figure out where to cut hole in the cement wall some where which would be on private property. From the original map project the west build area on the other side of the horse farm. What I've read Article in paper said negotiation across the horse farm was done.

"Build Out" is simply a marketing phrase, and a fairly transparent one to those of us who live here. If someone has a gold mine, and the seam of gold still seems strong, what are the chances they will shut it down?
I say more power to them. Buy on and build on! Bravo Morse family!:BigApplause:

Wonderful places grow, not so wonderful places decline. I have absolutely no control of build out plans, influx of seasonal populace, or commercial investments here in The Villages. For that reason, I don't waste a minute of any day worrying about it. We are happy here, and we enjoy our lifestyle and all things and events offered here.
We lived at the beach in SC for almost 12 years and loved it. Then we heard about The Villages and here we are going on 6 years. Will we hear about somewhere else wonderful and move there? It's possible. But as long as The Villages "works" for us, I hope to stay here.

My original post in this thread was to inform both residents and potential new Villagers the published figures on the numbers of new homes yet to be built or sold as of September. No one should dispute these figures. I have no clue as to what new plans may be in the works that would add to these figures other than the possibility of a few more villas up north. These totals may or may not be the final buildout numbers.

I think you're dreaming. After the "build out", the first thread will be the rumor that "the developer" has acquired more land. Then someone will post he saw some maps on someone's desk in administration. Then another will post that their mailman's wife's cousin's plumber's brother-in-law heard from a friend of his mechanic that building would begin in 6 months. Then someone will confirm they "heard" the same thing. And on it will go!
