I paid $1.69 per gallon in TN over the weekend.
The energy crisis has eased.....AGAIN!
The pain at the pump has been diminished. Even the media has indicated how much more $$ will be available for holiday spending as a result.
My preference would have been for the price to remain above $4 per gallon if that is what it takes to keep the public's attention on the subject at hand....energy independence.
Now, as in the past, the energy problem has become a secondary priority.
Trillions being spent to bail out anybody smart enough to put their hand out out.
Do we really have to endure pain at the pump to motivate we the people and hence our lawmakers?
I guess we'll just have to wait for a real interruption of the oil supply to get serious.
Until then happy days are here again...less than $2 gasoline, Thanksgiving and Christmas are almost here and Obama has been elected.
What else could we the people want?:(

Just when I was getting ready to buy a candy apple red one with oversized lug tires and floodlights on the roof.
