A service with law enforcement honors will be held today from 10 to 2 for Brent Edwin Hales, Sumter County Deputy Sheriff who also served in Desert Storm. Let's show our support by lining the grassy areas between the MMP and Buena Vista with our golf carts and flags. Hope to see you there.

I don't think the obit stated. What I know is a man who risked his life for our freedom and safety died, and a service was being held today.
