You do know that if Trump does not get the amount of delegates he needs for the nomination, and the convention gives it to someone else, he will take the GOP down by running a third party? So, it is better to relax, vote your choice and if Trump gets it, that the RNC lives up to their name and integrity and gives him his earned nomination. I do not like him, and I do not want him for president, but I also will not tolerate the RNC acting underhandedly. If he gets the nomination, he might not win the general election. We might have Hillary as president. But, if so at least we will still have a party that's not shattered by a bunch of establishment cronies. If this goes to the convention for determination and they don't give it to the candidate with the most votes, then they are committing political suicide. With open primary states, democrats can cross over and vote Trump. That is what has been happening. Closed states are coming.

That accounts for large turnouts.

General election....blacks and Hispanic will be out to vote in droves, and they are not voting Trump. Anti Trump move should tell you that should he be the nominee, many will stay home. Democratic Party has a better get out the vote routine and the Republican effort will be fractured.

Actually, you are correct, the Republican party was screwed pretty much when he began his "movement". Only hope for them is to beat him outright. There are 469 total seats up this November. Already, PUBLICLY, many are saying they will not support the candidate if it is Trump. Senate has been told they do not have to and will not be punished. They movement will snowball.
With him at the top of the ticket, as with any election like this, Democrats will wipe out every single majority held at present with great ease.

You are correct, he must be stopped prior to the convention or this party can start drawing up some sort of last will and testament. Imagine just for starters on national tv, the convention where the candidate WILL be booed and delegates will walk out. Great start.

I thought we were voting for POTUS, not husband of the year. From all reports, Obama is a great family man, but one of the worst presidents ever. So I don't think a marital fidelity litmus test will help choosing the right MAN for the job.

Second, Hilary's lack of qualification has nothing to do with Slick Willy.
She is a liar, a cheat, a felon and worst of all abandoned 4 men in Benghazi. She may not be responsible for what happened to them, but she sure as hell is responsible for lying face to face with the victims families to give political cover to a failed, incompetent administration. Just having 2000 confidential e-mails on her private server is a felony. No excuses, case closed. Possession of this info in private hands IS A FELONY.

Marital fidelity is one aspect of character, especially when you boast of it crudely in books and on the air while still married.

That kind of behavior is of the Kardashian, and yes Celebrity Apprentice age, and is a terrible anchor on the character.

Add a despicable, filthy mouth and a soul that allows you to label everyone and anyone who may disagree with you.

The same characteristics of crudeness, foul language, marital infidelity, and insulting everyone does not play any better in the business world, in fact it probably plays much worse given the voter response to Trump so far. So is it all an act??? I just can't imagine he succeeded in building a multi-billion dollar empire with these tactics.

So I think the problem with Trump is twofold. First, the general electorate has no idea what to make of him. He has solidified a base of vehemently angry voters, but he needs to broaden his appeal, not just talk about expanding his base.

The second problem is the Republican "establishment", who have clearly drawn a line in the sand. To have prominent Republicans publically state they would vote for Hilary is self-destructive. They can't possibly want Clinton in the WH, so why go out and burn bridges that may never be repaired in time for November? I think their motives are clear---they cannot control him. Remember the words of Emperor Darth Sidious from Star Wars III---"All those in power are afraid to lose it". This seems to be the case here. I just wish they would leave a back door open for reconciliation, lest we hear the 5 scariest words in the English language----"Good Morning President Hilary Clinton"

He has not even been vetted and people are fawning over him as they would a Kardashian. It is truely disgusting. Except for Celebrity Apprentice, this does not happen. He sells his name and got that name from a gift from his father. He is a promoter of stature to be sure.

Are you saying he thinks before he talks and acts. He still plays full court basketball. There' a lot of spontaneity in that game. Watch him at at a breifing or interview. Like Clinton he pauses at the end of the question. Thinks about how to answer the question or comment.

Trump fires back like a comedian trying to out-funny the heckler. His McCain response of calling men heros because they don't get captured is a perfect example. Even Trump would have let that pass if he thought for 2 seconds before responding. He's funny and quick witted. That works on the Howard Stern show.

So, Obama speaks eloquently. We know that, since Harry Reid was kind enough to endorse him as speaking good white man when he wants to. Too bad, his behavior is not as great as his speaking ability. And don't forget all those blunders he made in his speeches when he wandered off his teleprompter. Anyone that thinks that Obama has been a great leader, forgets that he believes in "leading from behind" which really means that he is a follower.

But, this election is not about Obama, but will be motivated by his past performance, or lack of. Folks are mad, at his many failures and want to over correct the course of our nation in another radical manner. When your car is sliding, you don't totally jerk it in the opposite direction. You counter-steer carefully, not radically. Trump is a radical counter steer of Obama's radical course to the left. To get back on track again, we need someone that will take us to the right gradually, not harshly like Trump would.

When I look at the primary election this week, to vote early I am thinking of the three bears story. We have Trump as the harsh tough old bear daddy, Rubio as being too soft and Cruz being a compromise. He is a strong Constitutionalist, but at least he has had some experience in law and a couple years in Congress. I was hoping that Rubio would put on a better showing but it is obvious that it is time for him and Kasich to retire from the race. Trump would be bad for our country, I have no doubt. Better than anything that the Dems have to offer this time around, but still bad. But, we should not settle on bad, just because we have had bad from the left for the past seven years. Cruz knows his way around, can beat Hillary and will abide by the Constitution. Whether I like him or not, the choice is Trump or Cruz. I have convinced myself to vote for Cruz this week, even though I had intended to vote for Rubio. In my opinion, Rubio will not be in the final round, unless the convention puts him there. If they do, then they will be wrong and will lose a lot of membership. The cronies are going to have to learn that loyalty to the country is more important than loyalty to the party. We should not have to act like the Democrats and sacrifice country, morals and ethics in order to preserve the party.
