I believe there are hold em tourneys about 5-6 days a week. They are not advertised as such. For example, there is a large game at Laurel Manor on fridays at 12:30. It is in the rec news as Cards (organized). These are usually privately run. I know the one at LM is quite busy. People were having to get there 45 minutes early , so they started a deal that all "regulars" got on a list and could arrive anytime before 12:30 and get a spot. Those non regulars had to arrive early and get on a waiting list and were as space avail. I think that one is $10 entry. I think some are as high as $20 entry. At LM they keep a running list all year long of the top money winners and have a final table of the top winners for the year.

Texas Hold'em is my favorite game. Yes the Laurel Manor game in Fridays is hard to get into if you're not a regular. They also hold one at Laurel Manor on Sundays, and on Tues and Thurs at 5:30 at Lake Miona. Another one on Tues afternoons at Mulberry Grove. As stated above, usually listed as "Cards - Organized." Once you go to one, ask around and you'll find out all the rest. I think there are one or two everyday somewhere. :coolsmiley:
