I know this has been discussed before, but when I did a search on "Wii", nothing came up.
Does anyone have an opinion, where is the best place in TV to buy a Wii?
Or is Amazon the best place?
Also, exactly what components are necessary to install and use Wii Fit?

This is a pretty neat site....and it may help locate one near by....
Amazon is fine if it is a reasonable price. I would not spend more than the $249.00 price....(that comes with the sports package).
As far as Wii Fit....I am not sure, but if it is anything like the sports package it is very simple. I am still hoping for a Wii fit for my birthday or christmas present this year.
I may go buy it myself and have it be from Santa!!
If I can find one that is!!
If you want to come "learn" to set up the Wii and/or the sports package...you are more than welcome to stop here....just let me know. I really don't mind.

Thanks for the site, it was helpful. And thanks for the offer to teach us the set up. Fireboy can usually figure stuff out (his training as a Fire Captain). Although sometimes he blows things up.
We are heading to Ocala today to look for a twin bed set. Hopefully we'll also score a Wii!

I bought one (and the Wii Fit board) at Target in Leesburg. The clerk told me they had lots of them.

Try Target,Best Buy Circuit City Walmart or Toys R Us...When you see it BUY IT immediately especialy the WII fit as they go fast...You need the original WII set up (comes with the Sports package) then you just make the additional purchase of the WII Fit Board... Suggestion, if you hate to deal with batteries as I do. WII also sells the battery recharger for the regular WII control and a separate charger for the WII Fit board..It's not a must..but an option...ENJOY..The Wii Fit is awsome...

put together.
Last Sunday Walmart had the Wii Fit advertised in their toy section of the Sunday paper. It took us about 4 weeks to catch up with one at Target.
But they seem to be more available now.
Check Walmart twice per day as they get two ships per day.
Target usually gets their shipment on Saturdays and have the product available Mondays.
I heard but cannot verify that Best Buy was taking orders for them.
Good luck...hang in there....you are gonna love it!!!

While the chances are likely slim that they'll be on sale, I suggest you check out the store flyers for their Black Friday sales. There are a few websites that have the sales brochures on-line right now.

Yay, success. We bought a Wii Console yesterday at Walmart, and actually got 10% off. :clap2:
We were told to line up at 3 AM the day after Thanksgiving if we really want a Wii Fit. :mornincoffee: I don't think I want one quite that badly. Apparently all the stores have some in stock that they'll be advertising and releasing that day.
The quest for Wii Fit continues. Thank you to Texasfal for the suggestion.

Sam, I did fall in love with your Wii and that is why I'm wanting one. I laughed so much trying to do the skiing thing that I thought I might fall off the balance board. Hopefully co-ordination improves with time.

I called Target in Lady Lake and Leesburg. They both say they don't have Wii Fit!! (If they have them, they're keeping them a secret so they can sell them in their Thanksgiving sale).
Chels, I am skeered of buying things on the computer. If they arrive and don't work, I'm sure it would be a PITA to return them. It seems safer to get them somewhere locally. I know you are confident buying stuff on the puter, but I guess I'm just an old dog who is finding it hard to learn new tricks.
Also, on Amazon, they advertise bundles and Wii Fit 5 and all kinds of stuff and I have no idea what they're talking about. I need to talk to a live body.

According to my daughter (our family technogeek) this website is frequently updated. Maybe it will help?

I'm told the stores open at 6 AM on Black Friday and if an item is "hot", the stores have a very limited supply (which they advertise to drawn purchasers to the store). I'm told it is necessary to line up at 4 or 5 AM to score a hot item.
I don't know if that is true or not, sounds barbaric. We don't have Black Fridays in Canada so I don't know how it works here in Florida.

If I bought a Wii, would there be a possibility of me cutting down my hours spent on TOTV?
