We are looking to rent for 1 month next winter. I want to swim, golf and bike ride. Is February too cool, would March be better? Will be bringing our dogs, so would need a 2 bedroom fence yard. Thanks!

Finding a single month rental during the winter is hard - with animals is even more difficult, so may have to take what you can get.

I think if you have a choice of the month, you'd be far better off with March than February. It does start to get warmer and people start to leave for Easter with their families.

March for sure. Pools are heated year around. Getting out is a challenge.

Breaking up high season is hard. But you might get lucky with a new rental on the market

Try this website attached. I used them quite a bit before moving here and was never disappointed. I found a pet friendly CYV available for March 2017 and I'm sure there are more. Try searching for others. Good Luck!!

I think it's relative to where you are coming from. February is usually the coldest month up north so if you want to escape cold and golf, and swim and ride a bike then Feb is the month. The mornings are usually the coldest part of the day but after 11 AM a light jacket is the most you would wear. Days are usually in the mid 60's to low 70's (ok, this year was an exception but you can check average temps online). March starts to get better up north so golf and biking can be enjoyable. It just depends what you are trying to escape from.
